In order to trade on a British racecourse, on-course bookmakers must be authorised by RBC on behalf of the racecourses. Authorisation is dependent on providing RBC with the necessary accreditation to demonstrate that a bookmaker satisfies the criteria laid down by the racecourses - namely a valid Operating Licence, a Levy Discharge (or Exemption) Certificate and evidence of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum level of £2m, along with a completed RBC Authorisation Form and the relevant fees. Forms are downloadable from our Authorisation forms section. For any clarification or assistance please contact the office on 01484 448200.
