LCCP Condition 1.1.2 states:
Should the licensee wish to add an individual to the list or remove the name of an individual from the list the licensee must make application to the Commission under section 104(1)(b) of the Act for amendment of that detail of the licence. Any employee the licensee wishes to add to the list may act unsupervised pending amendment of the licence provided a valid amendment application has been lodged with the Commission.
If this is the case, it is the operator’s responsibility to produce to RBC evidence that an application is pending. Previously the Commission only issued generic acknowledgements of an application, with little detail.
The Gambling Commission have agreed that, in future, the acknowledgement that they send out on receipt of a request to amend Schedule Y will contain the name(s) of persons being added to the licence. RBC will accept sight / a copy of this acknowledgement as evidence of compliance.
Once the amendments have been made, a copy of the updated licence must be submitted to RBC.
